3am Infomercials

I stayed up until 3:30am this morning watching an informercial.  After having a coffee last night after dinner, I was kind of wide awake, so I was watching tv and was planning on going to bed after watching two "The Nanny" episodes, but then I saw the beginning of "The Perfecter", which no, it wasn't a show, but an informercial about a hair product that supposedly eliminates your blow dryer, your curling iron, and your flat iron because it is all three-in-one.  AND it supposedly gives you volume to your hair.

So I watched.  Because I am always looking to make my hair look thicker as it is on the thin side with no volume whatsoever. It just likes to lay flat on my head which I really hate.  And after watching what it did for other women, I kinda liked it.

 It heats up at the core but the bristles stay cool so you don't burn yourself. Nice to know.  And then it gives you these looks:

I liked the outcome of  using it, and I like the premise of it, but decided to look up reviews about it before doing anything.  I would say most of the reviews were pretty good, with most warning not to use it as a curling iron like you would use a regular curling iron. And that it takes a little getting used to but most really did like it.  Then there were the bad reviews, saying they got their hair stuck around the brush and had to cut it off. Yikes!  Also that after a while the bristle start breaking off, leaving spots where if you put your finger you'd get burned on the core of the brush. So.

I know there is always good with the bad and with that I haven't decided yet.  I wish I could just borrow one and try it out rather than buying it, because it isn't cheap, as it costs $100. So I don't know.
